Preparing your journey
Passport, Visa & Travel Document Readiness
All travelers are responsible for obtaining and carrying the required travel documents for their pilgrimage. Please review your travel documents carefully well in advance of departure to ensure they meet all entry requirements for your destination.
For all international pilgrimages, a valid passport is required. Your passport should be valid for at least six (6) months beyond your scheduled return date, as many countries require this for entry. We also recommend that your passport contain at least two blank visa pages.
Please ensure that the name on your passport matches the name used when registering for your pilgrimage and purchasing airline tickets.
Some destinations may require a visa, electronic travel authorization (ETA), or other entry documentation. Entry requirements vary depending on your citizenship and the countries you will be visiting.
It is each traveler's responsibility to obtain all required visas, permits, and travel documentation before departure. Non-U.S. citizens should contact the appropriate embassy or consulate to determine the specific entry requirements that apply to their nationality.
For added security, we recommend that you:
Carry a photocopy of your passport separate from your original passport.
Save a digital copy of your passport and other important travel documents in a secure cloud storage service.
Leave a copy of your passport and itinerary with a trusted family member or friend before departure.
Travelers who do not possess the required travel documents may be denied boarding by the airline or refused entry by immigration authorities. Pax Via Tours & Travel cannot be held responsible for costs or delays resulting from incomplete, expired, or missing travel documents.
